Beautiful inside dining and outside patio. Good service and great hostess service by Michelle. Everyone enjoyed their food selections. Appetizers as well.

My first time eating here. Always looking for good authentic Mexican food. I didn't get that here. It's better than some of the big chain restaurants. But it lacks a real home cook taste. I rate my dining experiences according to my desire to return. All though overall it wasn't a bad experience, but I don't feel a need to eat there again.

Came here due to the good reviews and wasn't disappointed! The vegetarian options are awesome like the spinach enchiladas, I had the fajitas came with tons of meat and very delicious but really little vegetables which I found odd. The chips and salsa were really good. The atmosphere is awesome didn't get to sit outside since it was a Wednesday night but it looked really nice. The drinks were good nothing extra ordinary but the food and service were in point. Definitely felt a little upscale but wasn't So much. I will be back

The food was really good. I have had many enchiladas at different restaurants before, but these were definitely the best. The table side guacamole was AMAZING! I would love to go here again. 😊

I love the ambiance of this place. There is an outdoor patio with a nice fire pit if you prefer to sit outside. The food here is tasty as well. The dishes are a bit expensive but portions are quite large. I love their shrimp dishes. The camaronês el diablo is very spicy but still very flavorful. Their chili relleno and fajitas are also very good. Tip: Ask for black beans if you don’t like refried beans. And ask for small bowl of guacamole if you aren’t into salsa or prefer a less spicy option for a dip for the chips. Pictured below is the camaronês a la scampi and the grilled salmon. Both delicious but I prefer the camaronês.

I love the atmosphere . The restaurant dining is very nice and the outside patio is super beautiful. The staff was clean and friendly. They were very attentive . The food was very delicious!!

Great food and atmosphere, almost worth the wait and would of gave 5 stars but the mixed drinks were horrible. They didn't have any alcohol that could be tasted and had to return to of our drinks. And the prices aren't cheap.

Food is pretty good here. One of our favorite Mexican food restaurants in Claremont. It is on the high end of the pricing scale for Mexican food, but worth it. Nice upscale restaurant. Service is is good. Lots of in and outside seating. Large bar and lots of parking. Worth a visit.

Beautiful outside seating, warm and friendly employees, a menu as long as a Country mile, killer paintings and lights, family friendly food prices, "shall I continue?" Specialty cocktail menu, wine list, Great salsa with warm chips, and good food. What else could you ask for?To drink I ordered La Passion: " see pictures" with Patrón tequila, agave nectar, fresh raspberries, fresh lime, passionfruit and more. " Super Delicioso"For din din: A very filling Grilled steak fajita burrito: again see pictures, comes with Carne Asada, sautéed bell peppers, onions, pico de gallo, Jack cheese, A side of rice, sour cream, and guacamole.

The ambiance was great, but the food was no where near as good as I remember it was 6 months ago. We ordered margaritas which were too sweet, fajitas which were "ok" and a to go carne asada burrito with rice, cheese, guacamole and carne asada. We got a rice burrito with so little meat that it looked pathetic when we got home and looked at it. Defiantly disappointed... 😶

Really, truly the best Mexican food around.. they have another location in Upland.. If I know anything it quality Mexican and Elviras is my go to when I'm in the area

Horrible service!! Was told I was not allowed to sit next to my husband!!! When we asked the manager WHY he had no reason and then took our plates/food off our table!!!!!! No joke, there were several tables filled with 4-6 people sitting around then so why was I not allowed to sit next to my husband?

This place is delicious. It's huge too! There's always a private party happening here (and TOTALLY plan your party here) but their service is outstanding. They'll take care of you quickly despite the huge crowds. Just be aware, it does take a while to get seated here. Prepare for a bit of a wait.

if you are looking for a place with the authentic Mexican food and a great service come here. This is the place I hosted a baby shower this past weekend and all my guest loved the food. I would like to give a special thanks to the manager Sandra and her staff they did a Great job. Even with drizzle they would come as needed to help keep everything dry. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

Nice Upscale Ambience Restaurant with casual attire. We visited on a rainy day and it was packed! Had a combination plate with your traditional flavors and when you order a beef taco.... You get a BEEF taco (no ground beef). Chips and Salsa (delicious) were on point! The Chile relleno was a nice size and very tasty. My daughter (8years old) had a chicken sandwich and the thing came with an actual chicken breast. It was delicious! Service was friendly and prompt. The only thing that needs improvement is the Micheladas (reason why we went there), however we will be back for the other delicious items they had in menu.

Same good food. They've expanded the outdoor eating area greatly buy all tables are at least 6' or more seperated. The serving staff wear both madks and face shields. The night lighting and the sound of the fountain make for great ambiance.

Having been to Elvira's many times,you can safely assume I love the place. Everything on the menu I have tried has been delicious. Though I do have my favorite dish and I order it very often, trying other things have never left me disappointed. You won't be disappointed either!

I had a nice eating experience in this place. The place is nice and the staff is friendly, plus the food is delicious, what you pay is worth it. I highly recommend this place. You wont regret it. I will be coming back.

Food is excellent, ambiance is spot-on. Four stars because the night we went, service we very slow. Definitely not the waiter's fault, he was left alone with too many tables. Otherwise, a five star experience!

If you want authenticity, this is a must! The fresh guacamole made just before your eyes is delish! Ambiance is great. The bar and they started Brunch on Sunday's. Highly recommend!

Great food and ambient. BAR AREA SMALL FOR THE SIZE OF THE RESTAURANT and friends and myself don't go more often for that reason. We like to eat and drink at the Bar and always find it way to crowded and slow. Will be fantastic if Bar area and bar would be enlarged.

For starters, chips are made in-house and fresh (love that). The salsa is mild but flavorful which is also made in-house.We had a Combo #7, spinach Enchilada plate and a tostada. How many times have you gone to a Mexican restaurant, tasted their rice and it tastes like Uncle Ben’s microwave rice? This place, their rice tastes authentic and moist. Excellent vegetarian / vegan options. Great flavors. This is our new replacement for Alcapulco. Sadly they closed down.We’ll be back!

This place is amazing! I think I had the best tacos of my life here! Portions are great! Service was awesome! I even ate my leftovers which I never do. You should give this place a try!

Elvira‘s Grill restaurant was very disappointing I took my good friend for her birthday to Celebrate when I arrive to the restaurant I advised the host that my guest was running late she arrived at 2:45 as I was waiting I ordered a glass of wine when she arrive we ordered two more drinks and an appetizer enjoying each other‘s company we decided it’s time to order dinner and we did dinner arrived we continue to have a good time after our dinner we were asked to leave because we had been there going on four hours when I got home I calculated the time and it was not four hours I was very embarrassed felt indignant , I left however yelp will not be one form of complaint a more adequate and efficient way to advise our community of this type of business will be word-of-mouth so disappointed in Elvira‘s shame on you

Love this place. The food is delicious. Especially the queso dip. Cocktails are yummy and the fajitas are great. Service could be a bit more attentive, but does get super busy there so there is that.

Elvira's is so delicious! The atmosphere is extremely beautiful, yet very cozy. Renee was our server. She was so kind, and sweet. She made great recommendations, that made our dining experience perfect! There isn't a kid menu, but kiddos will find something yummy. I promise!

This place is pretty LEGIT! The chips and table side guacamole was so delicious. The drinks were perfectly mixed. I ordered a Mojito and my friend had the Skinny margarita (La flaca). Food was absolutely perfect. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas. The meat was so juicy and well seasoned. I honestly can't remember what my friend ordered to eat because I was so into my dish😅. Anyway, I totally recommend this restaurant. Sitting outside was nice and they had the tables properly distant. Our waiters wore a mask and gloves at all times.
